1 Know What It’s Best For
Perfect for bulky waste: house clear-outs, renovations, garden junk, and light construction debris. Not for filling with heavy materials like soil or rubble in large amounts - that’s a weight limit issue.
2 Break it down
Big items? Smash or flatten where you can. Dismantle furniture and cut down branches. Less air = more space and better value for you!
3 Load it properly
Start with flat stuff at the bottom. Then bulky bits. Bags and light waste last - they fill the gaps. Don’t just chuck it in randomly or you’ll waste half the space.
- Sort your stuff before the skip arrives and you’ll fit more in (that means better value for your money)
4 Don't overfill
Level loads only. if it’s piled high above the edge, it won’t be collected. No one wants to hear "sorry, can't take that".
5 Need more time? Just ask
3 days is the standard for skip hire. But if you need it longer, give us a shout before booking and we’ll sort it - easy.
